Yushkevich, Semyon
(1868-1927)
   Russian novelist and playwright. He was a physician in Odessa. In his plays and narrative works he contrasted poor and virtuous Jews with their vulgar, rich co-religionists. After the 1917 Bolshevik Revolution he settled in the US.
